PAYMENT

The French Titanium Association and the French Society for Metallurgy and Materials have given mandate to MCI France for the organisation of the 14th World Conference on Titanium and therefore to act and receive the fees on its behalf.

Payment of the registration fees is to be made in EUROS (€) only. 

  • by credit card: VISA / MASTERCARD / EUROCARD / AMERICAN EXPRESS (no other cards accepted). 
  • by bank transfer to the order of Ti-2019 / MCI France

(In the case of a bank transfer, please do not forget to specify on your form your last name and first name. All bank charges related to the transfer must be covered by the payer as amounts are fully due and no exchange rates fluctuations or bank charges will be borne by the Organisers) 

 

REGISTRATION MODIFICATION & CANCELLATION POLICY

Early registrations will be accepted until February 13, 2019, midnight CET.
Should your registration remain unpaid on February 27, 2019, early registrations will be upgraded to the late registration fee.
As of February 14, 2019, registration fees apply for every new registration.

All cancellations are to be sent to MCI France in writing (fax or email), including social and networking events if any.

  • For cancellations received up to Wednesday, 13 February 2019, an administrative fee of 50 EUR will be withheld.
  • After this date, no refunds will be possible

All registered participants who did not notify cancellation to the Organizing Secretariat in writing before the event will be liable to pay for the full registration fees.

A processing fee of EUR 20.- per registration will be charged for every registration modification, except for name substitutions which will be treated as new registrations.

 

ACCOMMODATION MODIFICATION & CANCELLATION POLICY

MCI France acts as an agent for accommodation bookings and Ti-2019 accepts no responsibility for any recommendations given or any transactions made.
For hotel bookings, a deposit payment covering the full stay is required with your reservation. Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt of your hotel deposit. This prepaid deposit will be deducted from your final hotel bill when checking out from the hotel.
Additional expenses such as mini-bar and telephone, must be paid directly to the hotel when checking out
Neither MCI nor Ti-2019 will pay or be liable to pay for the individual bookings and does not provide the Hotel with any guarantee. The hotel may charge or block an amount on the participant’s credit card to guarantee the extras. Each hotel has its own independent policy.Any enquiries or requests for additional information, modifications or cancellations to room reservations should be addressed to MCI in writing via email. Please do not contact the hotel directly.

The French Titanium Association and the French Society for Metallurgy and Materials as the Organisers and MCI France as the Organising Secretariat cannot be held responsible for the interruption or the cancellation of the event due to Force Majeure. In case of cancellation, cancellation conditions stated above will apply. Registration to the event implies the acceptance in full of the general terms and conditions. Likewise, and especially in case of risk of harm to any person’s security (and independently from any case of force majeure), the event organisers reserve the right to change the event location and, if necessary, to move the event to another country than the one initially planned. The cancellation conditions still shall apply and the event organisers strongly recommend that participants take out adequate insurance cover for cancellation. 

It is advised to all participants to obtain travel insurance (health, accident, repatriation, cancellation) before leaving their country of origin. The French Titanium Association and the French Society for Metallurgy and Materials and MCI France do not bear any responsibility in case of an accident caused to a participant or accompanying person during or following the event or during any event organised in conjunction with the event.
